Randi Lee and his Delray Blues Band have been tearing up the local and area club scenes for the past five years... Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., Randi began playing the n.y.c. scene at the age of 17, playing all styles of music, then discovering the blues in the early 90's. Randi has played many of the same venues as new york's biggest names in blues, and has shared the bill or stage with artists such as Hubert Sumlin, Phil Guy and the Nutmeg Horns, Popa Chubby, John Primer and Slam Allen, just to name a few. He has played the blues from n.y. to Austin, Texas, where he spent some time playing the famed East Sixth St. blues clubs. Randi Lee and his band have donated their performance to the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Blues Association Rock'N Blues Fest 2003 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation on July 19th, 2003, was honored to perform at the Blues 2003 Weekend in Ellenville, NY, and are performing at the 2005 Endless Mountains Blues Fest, in Elmhurst, Pa. Randi brings a high energy, entertaining show from start to finish, each and every time, with soulful vocals and searing guitar tone. You are guaranteed to enjoy a Delray Blues show!

What is an endorsement from the Association? An endorsement from the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Blues Association means that the endorsed bands have been seen and heard by the association, the bands are proud of being part of the blues genre and perpetuate it through their performances, and that we find the band to be totally professional. We get to know these musicians personally. They are all excellent musicians, who can provide the public with a performance that they will enjoy immensely, and can therefore boost the popularity and ensure the success of a venue or event. They are found to be of excellent character, are down-to-earth individuals, and are easy to get along with personally and professionally - this is important to any organization or venue interested in booking the bands. These bands have also been determined by our association to be in support of the Association and our mission as well - they are blues musicians or blues/rock bands who play because they love to play, are more interested in promoting the blues and live music than promotion, and are charity-minded individuals. They have all, in some way, supported and helped with the organization and presentation of our concerts for charity. They not only have donated their performances for our music events, but have also volunteered additional time/monetary donations and leg-work needed to help make our charity music events a success.
