Teddy Young has been tearing up the local and regional music scene for many years. Most recently as Teddy Young and The Aces. The hard-hitting trio features Young on his guitar.

Teddy Young gives listeners a great mix of down-home blues, soulful swing, classic rock and serious funk. Many numbers are well-known classics performed with an original twist, along with the band's original tunes.

Selections from Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan - always making a statement when playing tunes once performed by his own heroes - Teddy Young invokes the spirit of these two great players whenever he plays blues guitar rock classics as "Purple Haze", "Hey Joe", "Pride and Joy", and "Texas Flood". Also sticking to the roots of the blues, you'll find songs by Jimmy Reed, Buddy Guy and B.B. King. On the funky side, look for some James Brown, Bob Marley and a few originals. There is something here for everyone.

Teddy Young was chosen as the regional headliner at the Northeast Pa. Blues Society festival in 2002, and played at the Briggs Farm Blues Fest in 2003.  Members of the Association attended a performance by Teddy and his band a few years ago, at the WVIA studios - Teddy was spotlighted on George Graham's "Home Grown Music" show. Teddy donated a performance to The Scranton/Wilkes Barre Blues Association Classic Rock and Blues Fest 2004 to benefit The Children's Miracle Network/Geisinger Children's Hospital.

We have personally booked Teddy and his band at a few of summer music bashes, and he comes highly recommended by the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Blues Association as a professional and extremely talented musician - and one whose head ain't too big to fit through the door. Booking Teddy and his band for a party, club or music festival assures your guests or patrons a night of exciting music they won't soon forget.
