 Blues Association Shares the Power of Music for Make-A-Wishâ

 Wilkes-Barre – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Blues Association recently presented a check in the amount of $2,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundationâ of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The Blues Association, whose aim is preservation of the "Blues" as we know it, held the Rock’N Blues Fest on July 19^th at the Pittston Fire Company fairgrounds. Local bands including Booze Donkey, Black Dog and the Del Ray Blues Band donated their time and talent to the event to help raise money for Make-A-Wishâ of Northeastern PA. Blues lovers from around Northeastern PA took part in the first annual, 10-hour event…an event the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Blues Association hopes to continue.
