These are the 1940's
and 50's calendar beauties that used to be displayed in gas
stations and repair shops. Alberto Vargas painted beautiful women, some
nude,
but a lot were "family friendly". The women were gorgeous and
sexy in an artistic,
suggestive, but not pornographic or exploitive way. These were images
that
anyone could enjoy and display without embarassment. A far cry from
what
i've seen displayed in some places of businesses in the past few
decades! I
